Additional State Project DetailsA. Youth in Transition and other Foster YouthThe system will provide for specific youth requirements to include the following: 1. Monitoring youth after they age-out of the system (Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006)2. Monitor and analyze effectiveness of programs; using feedback from youth and data inquiries into other DHS services programs B. Disaster PreparednessBuild in a disaster preparedness plan for our foster youth to include: 1. Identifying which families require Special Needs Shelters; assistance with getting to a shelter2. Identifying shelter locations for each child in Foster Care and a way to track when the child and their family have arrived at the shelter C. Runaways - Missing ChildrenAutomate publishing of runaways, runaway reporting and link to photos when worker selects function. |
